The Administrative Council of the Collège Vauban

The Administrative Council is a decision-making body of the school, presided over by the director.

It adopts the budget, and approves bids, contracts, and agreements with suppliers. 

It is entitled to rule on the creation or suppression of positions of employment, and on the organization of outings, extracurricular events, and the like.

It approves the account balance of associations that are registered at the school (for example, alumni, sport, cultural, or humanitarian associations).

It approves the governing plan for the school, which is reviewed a minimum of every three years.

It approves amendments to the internal rules of the establishment.

For a middle school (collège) of more than 600 pupils or for a high school (lycée), the Administrative Council is composed of 30 members, divided into three fractions of 10 members each.
